Between March 22 and 24, two FC Porto coaches conducted 10 hours of training for nearly 60 Italian coaches

In another international presence through TISS, the FC Porto Football Sciences Institute brought its knowledge of FC Porto to Italy. The fingerprint of the methodology of the Dragon Force Football Schools was the center of attention.

Ciro Crescenzo, who traveled from Rome, said that “right from the first day I noticed from the FC Porto coaches a lot of energy in their interaction with us. But the most interesting thing was the part about the practice on the pitch: there you could see all the real energy in dragging and guiding the players in the success of the exercises. This was the most important aspect that I will take with me, namely the constant presence of the coach on the pitch, who, with great verbal prompting, managed to drag the players through the training session, using quick and concise feedback."

In partnership with TISS, the two FC Porto coaches conducted seven hours of theory and three hours of practical sessions for around 60 local coaches.

"We are really satisfied and proud of the first Coach Development Clinic realized in Naples with FC Porto and which marks the beginning of a collaboration on the Italian territory. A special mention for the coaches, who during the three-day course conveyed not only the Dragon Force's methodological principles but also and above all the soul and attitude of FC Porto", said Giulio Longo, CEO of TISS.

In these sessions, the participants had the opportunity to get to know and learn more about the methodology and game idea of FC Porto's Dragon Force Football Schools, combining theoretical concepts with practical moments, which allow the consolidation of the knowledge acquired.

“I was very fascinated by the way they managed the space and the timing of the game, they immediately transmitted to me their intensity, their culture and in particular their attention to detail. I hope there will be more opportunities in the future to continue learning the FC Porto philosophy and methodology”, added Denise Carabetta, from Milan.

At the same time, FC Porto's culture and values were passed on to the participants, who also received a certificate from the FC Porto Football Sciences Institute at the end of the training.
