Pepê decided the 1st leg of the semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup in Guimarães (1-0)

A single goal scored by Pepê, in the second half, gave the victory to FC Porto in Guimarães, 1-0, in the 1st leg of the semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup. The Brazilian midfielder praised the opponent, "a team with a lot of quality", but warned that the second leg will be approached "as if the round was still at 0-0". The 2nd leg is scheduled for April 17 (Wednesday), at 20h15, at Estádio do Dragão. The winner of the round will face Sporting in the final of the Portuguese Cup, which will be played at Estádio do Jamor (May 26).

The resume of the game
"We know that Vitória de Guimarães is very strong and is always looking for goal, especially when playing at home. We had to be at our best to get a good result for the 2nd leg. Vitória de Guimarães is a team with a lot of quality and is having an incredible season. Playing here is always difficult and we had to do everything the coach asked us to do to get the victory.”

The 2nd leg at Estádio do Dragão
“We know that no game is won in advance and that there are no easy games, so we will go on the pitch as if the knockout round was still at 0-0.”

A title to win
“All titles are important. There were games that hurt us during the season, but we will fight until the end, game after game, and keep our heads up. We’re facing each game as if it were a final.”
