The Dragon trilogy is complete with the presentation of the third kit for the 2024/25 season.
With a modern and innovative design, with deep shades of navy blue, the lines draw an abstract representation of the Dragon's skin, a symbol of the club, found in the city's coat of arms.
As if it were an armour, the pattern creates a disruptive camouflage effect, combined with the sky-blue details, especially the crest, added using New Balance's transfer technology.
This is a unique interpretation of the Dragon, a mythical creature that has inspired blue and white fans over several generations and is part of the “Undefeated Heart” campaign for the 2024/25 season.
New Balance used state-of-the-art design technology in all their shirts for the 2024/25 season, optimizing the time needed for drying, absorption and moisture management. The shirts include side panels that add ventilation, double hems and subtle finishes, such as the premium collar, which shows the brand's commitment to innovation and concern for the comfort of the players on the pitch.
Otávio already wore this new shirt and approved it: “Any FC Porto shirt is always special and this one is no exception. It's a colour and a pattern that I like. I think it looks amazing and I'm looking forward to playing with it in front of our fans.”
NewBalance's general manager, Kenny McCallum, also commented on this creation: “FC Porto's third kit for this new season reflects the power of the Dragon, influencing the design to differentiate the effusive and loyal fans of FC Porto”.
The third FC Porto kit for 2024/25 will be available starting this Wednesday at the FC Porto Store, FC Porto Online Store and on the New Balance website, among others.
