Martim Fernandes and Galeno talked in the Porto Canal post-match

Minutes after shining on the pitch, Galeno and Martim Fernandes joined Porto Canal's post-match as guests for a quick chat about the match they had just played and about the pre-season that preceded it.

"With more confidence" in himself and not as nervous on the pitch, which "improves the decision making", the defender started by explaining that "all fullbacks want to play with their dominant foot", but adaptation is part of growing. "Crossing more open or closed comes from individual creativity", added someone for whom "playing for FC Porto is a dream": "It doesn't matter which position I play, I’ll even play as goalkeeper".

Galeno also joined the talk to reveal that "at halftime, the coach asked for more movement behind the opposing central defenders", something that was worked on during the week and "put into practice in the second half". “What I want is to play. Wherever the coach tells me to play, I will try to help the team, that is my focus", stated the winner of the award Mérito e Valores Porto, who lived "a great day" and hopes to "start the next game”. “In what position? I don't know”, he joked.
