SIGA Women Leadership Forum will be attended by André Villas-Boas and is already sold out

The VIP Tribune of Estádio do Dragão is preparing to host the SIGA Women Leadership Forum, an event dedicated to promoting gender equality and female leadership in sports that will have FC Porto as host and André Villas-Boas as speaker, starting at 14h30 this Wednesday, in a panel that also includes the (Ministra da Juventude e da Modernização) Minister of Youth and Modernization, Margarida Balseiro Lopes.

Faced with a sold-out capacity several days ago, the president of FC Porto will share a personal and institutional view on the fundamental role of women in sports, at a time when the club is going through a historic moment, with the launch of the women's football team, witnessed by over 31,000 blue and white fans at Estádio do Dragão.

The 30 guests - only five men - will represent just as many organizations and, among the speakers, there are names such as Alexandrina Cruz, chairman of Rio Ave, Beatriz Álvarez, president of the Spanish Women's League, Helena Pires, executive director of Liga Portugal, or the Portuguese international star Matilde Fidalgo.

Organized by the Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA), the congress brings together influential voices from sports and society, national and foreign, to identify problems, debate and promote concrete actions for the inclusion and for female leadership in sport.
