After the tie in Brussels (2-2), Eustáquio considers that the team is still missing “that little bit of luck”

FC Porto was ahead of the scoreboard twice and ended up tying against Anderlecht (2-2) in Brussels on matchday 5 of the Europa League. For Eustáquio, “it is in these moments that we have to take a step forward”, even if “that little bit of luck” is still missing, as seen in the second goal for the Belgians. “When we have an advantage, we can't allow anything,” the Canadian international added.

Frustration
“This is a traditionally difficult pitch. We played well and knew it would be even more complicated for the three defeats in the recent past. We were organized, we scored first, they tied, we were back in the lead and they tied again. It is in these moments that we have to take a step forward. When we are at an advantage, we cannot allow anything. We could have made it 3-2 near the end, with Gonçalo Borges. The feeling is that of frustration.”

The focus on the three points
“We wanted to win, we were ahead of the scoreboard twice and we could still have made it 3-2. Nothing is lost, but that little bit of luck is also missing. I want to leave a word to our fans, we need their support and the stadium full against Casa Pia.”

Pepê
“He has done a lot of good things and is an example for us, he gives everything every day and we know what he adds to the team. If he lost the ball, it's because he wanted to do something and I prefer players like that.”
