FC Porto lost to Sporting and was eliminated from the League Cup. In Leiria, in the first semi-final of the competition, a single goal scored by Gyökeres led to the defeat of the blue and whites, who will play again on the 15th, for the rest of matchday 17 of the championship against CD Nacional.

With Cláudio Ramos and Nico González from the start, the Dragons started the match applying high pressure, moving up on the pitch and trying to force mistakes and had the first goal opportunity 19 minutes in.
