Blue and white comeback ended with a win in Amoreira (2-1)

Porto's lead in Estoril took just over an hour to arrive, but the move that led to it could hardly have been more beautiful. After Samu tied just before the break, Rodrigo Mora shot for the 2-1, helping FC Porto pick up three more points in the league, now reaching 56 and maintaining the third place in the table.

Martín Anselmi repeated his starting team and the Dragons went in with their sights set on goalkeeper Kevin Chamorro's goal. Five minutes in, Pepê got the pass from Samu and, as he ran to the box, Bouma cleared it into a corner; nine minutes in, the roles were reversed and Samu even scored, but he was offside.

On the first approach to Diogo Costa's goal, Estoril got a penalty and scored. The clock showed 11 minutes had been played when, in a play in the area, the ball was shot and hit Marcano's thigh and then his arm. VAR André Narciso promptly called referee Hélder Malheiro to watch the footage and the referee signalled the penalty that made it 1-0.

Losing, the blue and whites pushed their opponents back, dominated the ball and, after showing signs of danger through Fábio Vieira (24m) and Rodrigo Mora (38m), tied in one of the last plays of the first half: following a corner-kick on the left, Eustáquio headed in at the far post and Holsgrove - with his arm in an unnatural position - deflected the ball. Samu took charge of the penalty and had a powerful shot into the left side, much to the delight of the Blue Sea in Amoreira (1-1).

On their return from the changing rooms, FC Porto was once again on top and Nehuen Pérez, moving up to help the attack, came close to scoring 62 minutes in, after getting a pass from Fábio Vieira. Although the play didn't end as intended, it wouldn't be much longer before the 2-1. 65 minutes in, after a quick recovery, the ball reached Rodrigo Mora who, with all the magic he is known for, performed a stroke of genius: first he played with his heel to Moura and then, receiving it from the fullback, dribbled his opponent out of the way and shoot into the back of the net.

Eustáquio and Samu tried to extend the lead, but Chamorro insisted on keeping the minimum lead, as the blue and whites, then with Gonçalo Borges, Martim Fernandes, Deniz Gül and Zé Pedro on the pitch, sealed the victory in matchday 27 of the league.
