Three minutes in, the captain rose to stop a shot from Miguel Sousa, free from marking, and, five minutes in, the youngest member of the squad performed a genius play that made it 0-1: already inside the area and following a pass from Francisco Moura, the number 86 controlled the ball to evade his first opponent and, just when it looked like he was going to be stopped by José Fonte, he dribbled the central defender by spinning on the ball and placing it in the back of the net at the far post.
