Zé Pedro talked of a mission accomplished after the victory at home against Famalicão (2-1)
FC Porto picked up their second consecutive league win by beating Famalicão (2-1) at Estádio do Dragão on Friday for matchday 30. Once again brought into the starting eleven by Martín Anselmi, Zé Pedro talked of a “difficult game” in which the team had to “suffer a little”, but the truth is that “the main objective” was achieved. “We have to do our bit and, game by game, get the three points. Everything else doesn't concern us. We'll do our job and in the end we'll look at the numbers”, the blue and white central defender added.
Victory
“Suffering is part of the game, you have to know how to suffer a bit, rally the troops and be a team. It's important to be a team, to work together for the three points. Congratulations to the guys for their commitment and dedication in a difficult game, in which we achieved the main objective, which was getting the three points.”
Rodrigo Mora's magic
“It was another three points, not just for Mora, but for the whole team. He's a young man who leaves us speechless, he's very talented and I hope he can help us as much as possible.”
Rising stars
“We have talented players here, so we have to get the best out of them and reinforce that FC Porto spirit, especially in the toughest moments. If we win the individual duels in the game, we'll come out on top and win.”
Another spot in the starting team
“I do my job during the week, then it's up to the coach to make the decisions. I can only work hard and do my best. If the coach thinks I can help the team, I'll be here to give everything for FC Porto.”
The league table
“We have to do our bit and, game by game, get the three points. Everything else doesn't concern us. We're going to do our job and at the end of the day we'll look at the numbers.”
