FC Porto will be taking part, for the first time, in Portugal Day in Newark, which will take place over the weekend of 7 and 8 June.

In the run-up to their participation in the FIFA Club World Cup, FC Porto will be represented at this annual event that celebrates Portugal on US land. Newark is the largest city in the state of New Jersey and over 300,000 people are expected to attend the event, now in its 46th year.

This will be another opportunity to get closer to the fans, particularly the local community in the United States. FC Porto will be organising a series of initiatives to make their debut on Portugal Day unforgettable. Giveaways are to be expected, along with Photo Opportunity and other surprises throughout the event.

Through a partnership with Pegasus, the largest football shop in the New York / New Jersey area with over twenty years of experience at Portugal Day, in addition to other products, FC Porto's new kit will also be available for purchase on site, allowing Porto fans to wear the iconic blue and white stripes and get ready to celebrate Portugal Day and the Club World Cup in the most beautiful colours: those of FC Porto.
