Iván Marcano acknowledged that FC Porto's position in Group A of the Club World Cup “is very difficult”
FC Porto lost to Inter Miami (1-2) at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Matchday 2 of Group A of the Club World Cup. After the match, Iván Marcano emphasised the “chances to score more goals” that the Dragons had in the first half, but “lacked intensity” in the second half. “We already knew that they have quality and in two actions they killed the game”, the blue and white captain added, for whom there is no alternative but to “win the last game”.
A resume of the game
“In the first half we had chances to score more goals, but the start of the second half wasn't good, we lacked intensity, we lacked that Dragon spirit. We knew they had quality and in two plays they killed the game.”
The final score
“It's very difficult, because now it's not just up to us. This second game was decisive, so now we have to try and win the last game.”
