FC Porto jumped to the top of the League by beating Vitória SC (3-0) on Monday at Estádio do Dragão in the opening matchday of the competition. Alberto Costa was in the spotlight on the right wing of Porto's defence and has no doubt that “the team deserves congratulations”, especially because “doing what we did today is not easy”. “There is a lot of unity here, the spirit is different. The mentality is that of a champion and we only think about winning. That's what we're going to try to do in every game, but today was special, as it was for our great Jorge Costa. This was the least we could do to honour and pay tribute to him”, the blue and white number 20 concluded.
