Pepê scored for the second consecutive league game in the 2-0 win in Barcelos

FC Porto left Barcelos with three more points after beating Gil Vicente 2-0, with Pepê once again in the spotlight. The Brazilian winger scored for the second consecutive match and highlighted the “good game” played by the blue and whites, who took to the pitch aware of “the difficulties”. “I am very happy with the moment I am experiencing and with the support of everyone. This is very important to me after last season, which was difficult and in which I did not do my best. I had to go back to being the Pepê I always was”, the number 11 added.

Good performance and fair victory
“It was a very good game on our part on a difficult pitch. Last season we lost here and we knew the difficulties. We had to be focused from start to finish and we played a good game.”

Samu's injury
“Samu is a great player, he proves it game after game. We're a little disappointed, but we have Luuk de Jong and other great players. Whoever plays or goes in will do what the coach asks.”

Two games, two goals
“I'm very happy with how things are going and with the support of everyone. That's very important to me after last season, which was difficult and in which I didn't do my best. I had to go back to being the Pepê I've always been.”
