FC Porto will strengthen its international presence with the opening of the first Dragon Force by FC Porto school in Cyprus, scheduled to be inaugurated in October 2025. The project arises from a partnership with Wondereserv LTD, a company specialized in business consultancy, and PAEEK FC, a historic club from Kyrenia that currently competes in the national second division.

With this initiative, FC Porto continues its strategy of internationalization and the promotion of sports training, implementing the sporting and operational methods recognized under the ISO 9001 standard in Dragon Force football School.

For the Executive Manager of Dragon Force, Ricardo Frey-Ramos, “Dragon Force Cyprus by FC Porto is an important step in the expansion of our culture and Know-How. We want young Cypriots to learn according to FC Porto’s philosophy and values, promoting not only their development as players but also as individuals.”

Wondereserv LTD will ensure the local management and operational coordination of the project. Konstantinos Ntaltas e Evagoras Charalambous, highlighted the importance of the partnership: “This partnership marks an important strategic step for us, as we will be representing one of the most renowned football clubs, FC Porto, along with one of the world’s leading football academies, Dragon Force, here in Cyprus. Our mission is to uphold and promote the values of FC Porto, focusing first on shaping the character and discipline of young players, and then on nurturing their development as future footballers.”

Meanwhile, the Chairman of PAEEK FC, Demos Georgiades, underlined the relevance of the association with the Porto club: “PAEEK FC is proud to be FC Porto’s partner in this project. We believe that this cooperation will help raise the level of sports training in our club and in the country, opening new opportunities for young Cypriots.”

Excellence in training and engagement with the Cypriot community are priorities of this project. The new Dragon Force Cyprus football school will feature coaches certified by FC Porto, sports services that include nutrition and psychology, programs adapted to different age groups, and activities that will bring families and communities closer to football.

The goal is to identify and nurture local talent, promoting comprehensive training that values not only athletic performance but also the human development of each student.
