Dominik Prpić was not at all convinced by FC Porto's tie in Utrecht (1-1)

FC Porto tied on Thursday against FC Utrecht (1-1) in the Netherlands, in a match for matchday 4 of the Europa League group stage, in which they now have seven points. After the final whistle, Dominik Prpić regretted the “unfortunate way” in which the Dragons conceded the goal, but the truth is that the blue and whites proved to be “better throughout the 90 minutes” and deserved to “win”. “We have to move on and continue to fight for our goals”, the young Croatian centre-back stated.

An unfair tie
“The feeling is that we controlled the whole game, we dominated the opponent. We conceded the goal in an unfortunate way from a set piece, but tonight we deserved to win. We still have four more games to play in this competition. We controlled their attack well and were unlucky with the goal we conceded. We proved to be better over the 90 minutes.”

The goal was close
“I hope to have better luck next time. They were very closed and it was difficult to break through their defence, but we have to move on and continue to fight for our goals.”

Seven points so far
“These four games are behind us and now we have to look ahead to the next league game.”

Always learning
“I want to thank the coach, the staff and my teammates for pushing me every day. I believe I can improve and evolve.”
