Having just received the MVP award following the victory in Braga (2-1), Victor Froholdt was quick to state that “the team deserves the award”, a team of which the Danish midfielder is “very proud”. “We fight for one another and never give up,” he recalled, before describing “these three points as a big step forward in the league”.

“To be honest, I don’t think I deserve this award. The team deserves the MVP award. We managed to turn the game around after falling behind from a penalty and gave it our all in the last 40 minutes to achieve it. I’m very proud of the team for the way we fought for one another and never gave up, especially in this situation. SC Braga are a very good side; they’re in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, so these three points represent a big step forward in the League.”
