FC Porto beat Estrela da Amadora 2–1 this Sunday on Matchday 31, and restored a seven-point lead at the top of the table, on condition. Deniz Gül, who scored both goals and picked up the Liga Portugal MVP award, spoke about a first half in which “we played really well” and a second half where “we dropped off a bit.” Delighted with his goals, the Turkish international forward said it’s “very special” to hear the fans singing his song, and stressed that the Dragons remain “fully focused” on the next match.
