23 years old midfielder arrived from Portimonense, on a loan until the end of the season, with option to buy
Minutes before signing a contract with FC Porto, Paulinho admitted that he is living a dream. The new number 6 for the blue and whites is 23 years old and arrives on a loan from Portimonense, with the Dragons having the option to fully sign him at the end of the season. When asked about what he can add to the team, the midfielder talked of his good passing, also assuring that he is just another one to help the club reach all objectives.
The dream come true and sleepless nights
“Playing for FC Porto was my dream. This is a big jump in my career, something that I was looking forward for some time now. I can’t wait to play. I had been saying this, but this is true, I hadn’t slept for days. Now I just want to get out there and do my best.”
Good passing
“I believe I can add quality in the passing, especially for goal. I feel that is my best quality, but I will do whatever the coach asks of me. I’m just another one to help the club reach objectives.”
Opinion on Sérgio Conceição
“He seems to be a very straight forward person, a strict coach, and I believe that’s a good thing. A coach must try to get the best out of his players.”
