Important and difficult match
“It’s an important match as we are playing at home and have a great responsibility before our fans. Still, it’s a match like every other, where FC Porto will be fighting to win. I’m expecting an intense match, hard, with many physical duels we must win. We have our weapons and think more of ourselves than of the opponent.”

Fernando returning to Estádio do Dragão
“It’s always good to find players that had an important history at FC Porto. He was a player I admired at FC Porto, but, on the pitch, it will be good rivalry. He wants to win and so do I. I hope FC Porto wins.”

Aboubakar injured
“Aboubakar is an important player for us, but we have a full squad, with good players that know our style of play well. Whoever plays, will give a positive response. We studied our strategy well and now we need to stick to it.”

Returning after five months
“After being injured for so log, there are always restrictions and caution you must follow, but I feel physically well. I would play all the time, if it came to me. I feel my return was good for the team, as I am important on and off the pitch.”

The future of FC Porto in the Champions League
“The sooner we reach our goals, the better. We always think match by match and that is what matters. We want to win this match and the numbers are seen in the end. We are still playing for matchday 2 of the Champions League, and we want to win it.”
