The matches for the fifth elimination round will be played between December 18 and 20

The draw held this Friday at the City of Futebol, in Oeiras, determined that FC Porto will be facing Moreirense at home for the Round of 16 of the Portuguese Cup. The round will be played between December 18 and 20.

The history of the Portuguese Cup counts on two matches between these two teams, both won by the Dragons and played in Moreira de Cónegos, the last of which last season, for the quarter-finals, which ended with a 2-1 victory. The first match came in 2010/11, with the blue and whites winning 1-0 and moving on to the round of 16, only stopping in Jamor, where they beat Vitória de Guimarães 6-2.

FC Porto got to this stage after beating Vila Real (6-0) and Belenenses (2-0), whereas Moreirense eliminated São Martinho (1-0) and Sporting da Covilhã (3-0). The Dragons already faced Moreirense this season, at Estádio do Dragão, a match they won 3-0, for matchday 4 of the Portuguese League.
