New Balance creation for the new season

The skin of the Dragon touching the skin of the players. This is the proposition for the third kit for FC Porto for season 2019/20, a creation done together with New Balance, part of the campaign “United Dragons”, which aims at bringing the fans and the team even closer.

Restating the strong identity of FC Porto, the shirt has a design that reminds the mythical figure of the Dragon, symbol of the club, surrounded by “estate blue” colour.

Offering comfort and freedom of movement, the shirt will help in breathing and air flow. The shorts follow the same technological line and match the blue tone of the shirt.

Kenny McCallum, director of New Balance Football, was thrilled with the end result. “When we started creating the third kit for the 2019/20 season, we found it important to present a style that made us feel we were creating an immediate connection between the fans and the team. The celebration of the Dragon resulted in a visually magnificent shirt”.

Diogo Leite also liked what he saw: “This design is fantastic and I’m looking forward to seeing the fans support us whenever we use this shirt. There is a special feeling in wearing the FC Porto symbol on your chest”.
