Pepê and Francisco Conceição talked of the fairness of the victory over Vizela (4-1)

After beating Vizela 4-1, FC Porto got closer to Benfica, who faces Casa Pia away this Sunday afternoon. The Dragons are third in the League, three points behind the Reds (58). After the final whistle of matchday 26, played that Estádio do Dragão, Pepê talked of "a good result”, achieved with “the support of the fans”, just before “an important stoppage”, as they are coming from “a game with 120 minutes [against Arsenal] and now this one, also intense” at home. Francisco Conceição, “a fan on the pitch”, admitted that he was “living a dream both in the national team and in the club” and promised to “continue to work so that this moment keeps getting better”.

Pepê
“We had the misfortune of the own goal, but we were always in control of the game, we remained calm and managed to score goals. In the second half, we were focused, connected and reached a good result. After the goal we conceded, we knew they were going to stay back even further, so it took patience to find openings, make the plays and score the goals. If you play for FC Porto, you have to give everything you have, regardless of the game, we have to stay focused for 90 minutes and today was no different. With the support of the fans, we achieved a good result. An important stoppage is coming now, we had a game with 120 minutes during the week, another intense one today and we will work on what we feel more difficulties to come back even more connected. We are always focused during the game, we don’t realize what happens outside of it, but we realize that we always have the support of the fans and it is important to play great games.”

Francisco Conceição
“It was a goal that gave the team confidence, because we were on top, creating many opportunities, and it helped us achieve this result. We always create a lot of opportunities, but sometimes we just aren't able to score, while Vizela scored without doing anything for it. During the break, the coach corrected some important details and, in the second half, we reached a big result. I am living a dream, both in the national team and in the club, I am able to show some of my quality and I will continue to work so that this moment keeps getting better. It is gratifying and I’m proud of it, I am a fan of the club on the pitch, with other responsibilities, and I always try to do my best to represent all our fans when I’m playing.”
