A gradual process of replacing the member card is underway and FC Porto accompanies all doubts and questions that may arise in the blue and white universe. Here is a practical guide, constantly updated, on the news that members must take into account.
When does the new member card take effect?
This Thursday, September 12th.
Who has access?
The new card will be distributed to all active members of FC Porto.
What are active members?
Members with less than six months of overdue membership fees, in accordance with the Club's Statutes, as of September 1, 2024.
I have more than six months of overdue fees. How can I access the new card?
Just pay the overdue fees and contact the Club's services, through the usual channels, or go to the Member Store from Monday to Sunday between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm.
How can I settle late fees?
Through the member area on the FC Porto Portal, at www.fcporto.pt, at the Member Store or at FC Porto Stores.
I paid my member fees after September 1, 2024. Am I also entitled to the new card?
Yes. All members who have paid over six months of overdue member fees after September 1 should go to the Member Store or to the support locations on game day in order to obtain the new card.
How much does the new member card cost?
Nothing. The new card will be distributed universally and free of charge, at no cost attributable to the member.
When will I have access to the new physical card?
The physical cards will be distributed throughout the month of September, gradually and in order of seniority - from the oldest to the most recent member. In a first phase, Diamond (75 years), Gold (50) and Silver (25) membership cards will be issued. In a second phase, the cards of members affiliated for less than 25 years will be issued.
When will I have access to the new digital card?
The digital cards will be distributed starting this Wednesday.
How do I get the new physical card?
The physical card will be issued by post to the address of each member.
How do I get the new digital card?
The new digital card will be sent by email to the email address of each member and can be downloaded in NFC format in the Wallet (Apple or Google) of their smartphone or Apple Watch.
After receiving the new card do I need to activate it?
No.
When and how can I start using the new card?
The new card is automatically active from the moment it is received.
I haven't received the new physical card yet. How do I know if my address is correct?
Logging into the member area of the FC Porto Portal, at www.fcporto.pt. The period of updating the addresses, as part of the process of issuing the new cards, ended on August 30. The new card was sent to the address that was on the partner's profile on that date.
I didn't update my address in time. What should I do?
Undelivered membership cards may be collected at Estádio do Dragão during the month of October at the locations indicated for this purpose and as they are returned by the entity responsible for distribution. In cases of loss or delivery made to an address inaccessible to the member, a duplicate of the card (with additional costs foreseen) must be requested at Estádio do Dragão during the month of October and at the locations indicated for this purpose.
I didn't receive the digital card in the email. Now what?
FC Porto services will be able to help. Go to the support locations specially dedicated to the new member card before any game at Estádio do Dragão or contact the usual channels on the remaining days.
I hold a ticket (Annual Seat or ticket) for the next game. How should I proceed?
If you have already received the new card at the respective address or if you have already downloaded it from the email, you must bring it with you in physical or digital format. If you have not yet received it, you must access the premises using the digital card or, alternatively, the old card. But be aware that the old card will stop working soon.
For how long can I use the old card?
You'll be able to use the old card until you receive the new one. The old card, physical and in the FC Porto App, will stop working at the beginning of October. From this date on, no member may use it to access FC Porto's infrastructures or services.
When should I expect to receive the new card?
Diamond (75 years), Gold (50) and Silver (25) members should receive the new card by Friday, September 13. The remaining members, with a blue card, should receive it by September 27. For reasons attributable to the entity responsible for the distribution, and in exceptional cases, the delivery of the cards can last until September 30.
I haven't received the new card yet. What should I do?
First of all, you should review the planned schedule for the gradual distribution of the new cards. Then, you should check the address in the member area of the FC Porto Portal, at www.fcporto.pt. If the problem persists until the end of September, you should contact the usual channels or go to the Member Store.
How do I access Estádio do Dragão and Dragão Arena with the new card?
The new physical and digital card adopts contactless NFC technology, which works by approaching the turnstile antennas. Once the implementation process is completed, this will be the only technology used by the members to access FC Porto's sports venues.
How can I take advantage of the new cards next to FC Porto partners?
FC Porto prepared, together with the partner network (such as Repsol), the entry into force of the new cards. From now on, members will be able to enjoy benefits with Club partners through the QR code visible on the front of the physical card and on the back of the digital one.
I am an Annual Seat holder. Can I borrow the new card?

I bought a membership ticket, how can I access the Stadium?
The rules of access to the venues have not changed. Since the beginning of the 2024/25 season, all members holding a ticket must access the games using only the member card - physical or digital.
I bought a public ticket, how can I access the stadium?
The new membership cards do not have any interference with the public tickets.
I requested a duplicate of my physical card. Do I need to update my digital card?
If you lost (or did not receive) the new membership card and requested a duplicate, the digital card is automatically updated.
