Francisco Moura believes FC Porto should have won by bigger numbers against AFS (2-0)

FC Porto returned to victories in the league by beating AFS (2-0) at Estádio do Dragão on Saturday, for matchday 26 of the competition. Emphasising that “the most important thing was to win”, Francisco Moura highlighted the “great first half” for the blue and whites, who could have gone into the break “with a bigger lead”. Happy with another assistance for goal, the left fullback promised that the team will “go into every game to win” until the end of the championship.

First half justified more than 1-0
“The most important thing was the victory, that's what we wanted and we worked all week for it. I think we had a great first half and we could have gone into the break with a bigger lead. We played a great game.”

Martín Anselmi's work and ideas
“The longer weeks have helped the group assimilate the coach's ideas better. We played a great first half, we've been working well and that's what this club demands. The sending off made them close down more and that changed the second half. Even so, we had chances to score more goals.”

Another assistance for goal
“That's what I work for too, it's important for me to be able to help the team. The more I can do, the better for me.”

The maths for the title
“This club demands that we always look ahead, it's a club that has to be champion. We'll go into every game looking to win and in the end we'll do the maths.”
