FC Porto beat Moreirense on Matchday 32 (3-1)

FC Porto dominated the 90 minutes at Estádio do Dragão, but needed a turnaround to secure three more points and reach 65 in the league. On matchday 32, Francisco Moura and Samu (two) scored in the victory over Moreirense (3-1).

Without Alan Varela - banned for his ninth yellow in the league - and with Nehuén Pérez and Samu in the starting team, FC Porto controlled possession during the first half hour and, after the 30th minute, that attacking initiative could have had an impact on the scoreboard: following a corner from the left, João Mário found Rodrigo Mora on the edge of the area, but the creative player's shot grazed the top corner of opposing goal. In response, Moreirense took the lead on their first approach to the blue and white goal (0-1).

Back to the same trend, the Dragons pushed forward and managed to tie after nine minutes. Marcano found Fábio Vieira on the right and the left-winger crossed with precision for Francisco Moura to head on the far post (1-1). Until the final whistle of the first half, only Cláudio Ramos shone with a remarkable saved (45m).

After a start to the second half similar to the first, with Moreirense playing close to goalkeeper Caio's penalty area and FC Porto surrounding it, the turnaround was completed. With Gonçalo Borges and Tomás Pérez on the pitch, Fábio Vieira combined with João Mário on the right, the fullback's cross was deflected by Maracás' arm and Gustavo Correia pointed to the penalty spot, from where Samu didn't hesitate and beat the goalkeeper before celebrating with his teammates (2-1, 70m).

Martim went in to replace Eustáquio and saw the usual duo combine for another goal from close range. Rodrigo Mora received the ball on the right, quickly dribbled the opposition around him and crossed low to Samu, who received it and shot it into the back of the net (3-1).

The striker and Fábio Vieira were replaced by Danny Namaso and André Franco 86 minutes in, Gonçalo Borges saw his shot for goal blocked by a defender and the 3-1 score stood until referee Gustavo Correia signalled the end of the match.
