Cláudio Ramos focused on CD Tondela after the League Cup quarter finals

FC Porto conceded a defeat at home against Vitória SC (1-3) in the League Cup quarter finals and was eliminated from the competition. In the aftermath of the match, Cláudio Ramos regretted the “three mistakes” that resulted in three goals and confessed that the team is “sad not to have made it to the final four of the League Cup, but wants to respond to this defeat in Sunday's match”, against CD Tondela, for the championship. “We remain focused and, despite the result, the fans once again demonstrated the strength of FC Porto”, said the goalkeeper, reminding everyone that the team “is still fighting for three competitions.”

90 minutes summarised
“Three mistakes led to three goals. We had 22 shots against five, only three of which were on target as a result of three mistakes on our part. We played well, created plenty of chances, but if you don't score, you risk conceding, and that's what happened.”

Maximum punishment
“After the goal, we continued to have chances and possession, but when you don't score and kill the game, situations like this can happen. We conceded two goals from penalties and made three mistakes. You can't do much more after that.”

Eyes on the future
“There are many matches, so it’s normal to have setbacks. The team remains focused and the fans have once again demonstrated the strength of FC Porto. Despite this defeat, they know what lies ahead for the rest of the season. We are still competing on many fronts and we want to win everything. We are sad that we didn't make it to the final four of the League Cup, but on Sunday we have another game and an opportunity to respond to this defeat.”

League Cup
“It's the competition we've won the least, but we don't underestimate it. We prepared for the game as if it were the most important of the season, but there are days like this when we are penalised for our mistakes, and today we were eliminated because of three mistakes.”

Pepê's emotion
“It's a personal matter, he's going through a difficult time. We wanted to dedicate the victory to him and Luuk, but it wasn't possible. On Sunday, we have another opportunity to dedicate the victory to them, and we hope to celebrate titles at the end of the season.”
