Victor Froholdt assured that “what matters most is that the team wins” after being voted MVP in Tondela (2-0)

After receiving the League MVP award in Tondela, where FC Porto won 2-0 on matchday 13, Victor Froholdt admitted that “the first half was difficult” before emphasising that the Dragons had once again “proved that they are a great team and that no championship is decided in December”. Grateful “to the fans who supported us” in Beira Alta, the midfielder was happy with the individual distinction, but stressed: “What matters most to me is that the team wins and fights for the championship.”

A display of strength in Tondela
“The first half was difficult, we didn't play with the intensity we wanted, but we proved once again that we are a very strong team and that no championship is decided in December. It was an important victory today and I am grateful to the fans who came here to support us.”

The second individual distinction of the week
“It's always nice to receive individual distinctions, but what matters most to me is that the team wins and fights for the championship. Collecting a few awards along the way is always nice.”
