Victor Froholdt praised the team’s “great performance” against Moreirense FC (3-0)

After “a great game” that should “leave everyone involved satisfied” and in which he contributed with two assists to the 3-0 final score, Victor Froholdt explained that the blue and white players created “the pressure they wanted” against Moreirense FC and “could even have scored more goals”, but “it was very important to show that it’s possible to put up a good fight and score three goals without conceding”. Certain that the team’s objective “is to become champions” and that everyone will “fight for it” until the end, the Danish midfielder pointed out that “there are still many games to come” and that “now the focus must shift to VfB Stuttgart”.

Top form
“We played a great game today. We created the pressure we wanted, won back a lot of balls in the opposition’s midfield and could even have scored more goals. We should be pleased with our performance. It was very important to show that we can put up a good fight and score three goals without conceding.”

Clear objective
“We’re very focused on the league; I don’t think anyone minds us admitting that our objective is to become champions and we’ll fight for it. We still have plenty of games ahead of us; now the focus must shift to VfB Stuttgart, because we also want to progress in the Europa League.”
